Burj Al Arab - A heritage of hospitality - the tallest hotel in the world standing at 321m high with an atrium of 180m, built on a man made island off Jumeirah Beach Road. Sheikh's Saeed's Palace, ancestral home of the ruling family, occupies pride of place near the mouth of the Creek. Restoration work returned the pierced stucco window screens and dog-tooth crenellations to their original state. The Forte Grande Jumeirah Beach (foreground) and the Metropolitan Beach hotel are two of a number of top classfacilities that take full advantage of Dubai's magnificent beaches. Wadi pools, where water can often be found year-round, support a surprising abundance of wildlife. Sheikh Zayed Highway with modern office block complexes to each side of the main Highway between Sharjah -Dubai - and Abu Dhabi.
