Burj Al Arab - A heritage of hospitality - the tallest hotel in the world standing at 321m high with an atrium of 180m, built on a man made island off Jumeirah Beach Road.
Rising 39 floors above the city, the Dubai World Trade Centre’s office tower houses the regional headquarters of many of the world’s largest corporations. Alongside, a modern conference centre and seven exhibition halls host an active programme of international trade fairs that attract exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. Visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the city from the tower’s viewing deck, a favourite of photographers. (Guided tours operate twice daily at 9.30am and 4.30pm, except on public holidays).
Sheikh's Saeed's Palace, ancestral home of the ruling family, occupies pride of place near the mouth of the Creek. Restoration work returned the pierced stucco window screens and dog-tooth crenellations to their original state.
